Fascinating Facts: Norway Spruce was used for the tonewood of the world-famous Stradivarius violins, sourced from the Italian Alps. These very old trees had exceptionally narrow growth rings as they grew slowly during the 鈥淟ittle Ice Age,鈥 1500 to 1850.
