Personal Summary
Life is full of changes and challenges. I feel that each of us has strengths that we can draw on when life is difficult. I approach the therapeutic relationship with the perspective that we can move forward using those resiliencies that make us unique and strong in our own ways. I feel that therapy should tend toward immediate interventions, focus on the individual's goals, and develop strategies that one can employ in their life, with long term, lasting results. I utilize a client based approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Attachment Theory (Circle of Security Model), and Social Thinking to help each client reach their goals. I have worked with individuals of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, Autism, grief, life transitions, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked in many settings including school based mental health, integrated health models, and private practice.
