Personal Summary
My goal in counseling, is to focus on those issues of importance to you, and to build on your strengths so you can flourish. Authenticity is at the core of my practice. It fosters trust within the counseling relationship and manifests through being genuine and transparent. I will hold space and empathy for the challenges, hurt, and anger you face as well as join you in celebrating your victories big or small. Together, we can navigate the complexities of your experiences with honesty and openness. My theoretical approach is Person Centered, seeing you as the expert on yourself. Like most counselors, I pull from various therapeutic approaches and will tailor our work together to best fit your goals, needs, and learning style.
I have experience in working with people from all different walks and stages of life, however working with college aged Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ has always been a personal joy. Prior to joining the Curry Health Center team, I worked various settings including high school/middle schools, Native American health center, and private practice.
