Personal Summary
I strive to provided holistic, client-centered care to individuals seeking treatment for a variety of mental health and psychiatric conditions. This includes diagnosis, treatment, medication management, psychoeducation and support utilizing an evidenced-based practice model. I value an integrative approach and draw upon the concept of unconditional positive regard. I believe it is important to meet individuals 'where they are’ in their current life circumstances. I utilize a non-judgmental approach. The goal of treatment is to assist individuals in achieving and maintaining their highest level of wellness. I promote self-efficacy, while supporting the individual as they define their personal goals, in an effort to help facilitate maximal functioning, wellness, and improved satisfaction with life.

Teaching Experience
I have worked in a variety of settings over the span of my career. This includes working with Veterans, home health care, inpatient psychiatric care, floor nursing in medical, surgical and cardiac care settings, inpatient addiction treatment, and adolescent partial hospitalization. Since becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have worked in community mental health, and private practice, prior to joining the team at Curry Health Center.
Hobbies
I enjoy hiking, swimming, traveling, music, movies, and listening to comedy. I care deeply about people, animals and our environment.
