Kristin Stevens
Administrative Associate
What brought you to Montana?
I was actually born and raised here in the lovely town of St. Ignatius. My husband and I moved to the Seattle area for a few years, but otherwise I have been in Missoula for most of my adult life!
Where did you attend college?
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ – twice! I got my undergrad degree in Communication Studies, and then after working for a few years returned for my master’s degree. I graduated with a MS in Health Promotion.
Why did you choose to be part of the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana?
I had heard of FMRWM while working in other capacities and because I grew up in a small, rural community, the mission of the program struck a chord with me. While looking for a career change, I was fortunate enough that there was an opening with the program…and here I am!
What are your interests outside the University and FMRWM?
I enjoy running, reading, cooking, yardwork, swimming in our lakes/rivers, watching/playing sports and spending time with my son and husband.
