Professional Experience
I consider myself to be a poster child for what a liberal arts education provides - the ability to work in various different fields, flexing to whatever is needed of me in the moment. I have large chunks of experience in higher education, training and facilitation, project and event management, and marketing and communication. I am most at home when I'm using my skills to connect and help people, advocate for policies and procedures that remove barriers, and leverage tech tools to their maximum potential.
I've held a few positions at the University fo Montana and have enjoyed the variety of work that I've done and the people I've worked with and served:
- IT Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Technology - July, 2022 to present
- Professional Advisor, Psychology Department, College of Humanities and Sciences (H&S) - March, 2020 to June, 2022
- Director of Communications and Events, H&S - August, 2018 to March, 2020 (Also, Dean's Office Manager, 2018-2019)
I've served in a few governance capacities too:
- Montana University System Staff Association () - Member (2022-24), Chair (2023-24)
- Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Staff Senate - Senator, Co-chair of Wellness and Retention Committee, Co-chair of Bylaws and Resolutions Committee (2022-24)
- Critical Advising Practices for Equity (CAPE) - Member (2020-22)
- H&S Dean's Staff Advisory Board - Member (2018-20)
I have worked in non-profit and higher education since 2001 and prior to that I worked for the Walt Disney Company.
