Personal Summary
Cort Jensen was the Chief Legal Counsel for the Montana Department of Agriculture for over 15 years until leaving in 2024 to become Chief Attorney for the Montana Board of Investments. Cort was born in Circle Montana and grew up on a mixed grain and cattle ranch. He obtained his BAs from Concordia College. He obtained his JD from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Law School. Prior to working for the Department of Agriculture, Cort was the Chief Consumer Attorney for the state of Montana in both the Department of Administration and the Department of Justice. He is a past president of the Public Law Section of the Montana State Bar and still serves on it's Technology Committee. He is an elected board member of the AALA (American Agricultural Law Association).
