Negotiation Team Wins Regionals for Fourth Consecutive Year
The Alexander Blewett III School of Law ABA Negotiation Competition Team returned from Chicago, Illinois with the best overall finish for all three teams in a decade. Frans Andersson ‘17 and Kirsi Luther ‘19 finished in first place at ABA-sponsored Regional Negotiation Competition held November 12 and 13. Chicago's John Marshall Law School hosted the regional event, bringing together twenty-four teams from law schools throughout the Midwest and mountain states.

Moot Court Team Wins Regionals, Advances to Nationals
The Blewett School of Law moot court competition team returned from the Northwest Regional Competition at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon with a win. The petitioner team of Vicki Dettman ‘17, Eli Inabnit ‘17, and Anne Sherwood ‘17 took first place out of the fourteen teams participating and were undefeated through the preliminary, quarterfinal, semifinal, and final rounds.

Ferrari-Agudelo '18 Receives Goldmark Equal Access to Justice Internship
Laura Ferrari-Agudelo, a second year law student at the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, received the 2017 Goldmark Equal Access to Justice Internship. This ten week, paid summer internship was created to honor the Legal Foundation of Washington’s (LFW) second president, Charles Goldmark, and encourage young lawyers to emulate Goldmark’s ardent commitment to provide civil legal aid to under-served populations.
