Personal Summary

Victor Valgenti is the Program Director for the Information Technology program at Missoula College. He received a PhD in Computer Science from Washington State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in French and English, with an emphasis in Linguistics in both, from the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. Victor has travelled the world, spending six years living in Japan in the 90’s. Since then, he has held almost every job available in technology from Help Desk, Software Quality Assurance, Software Development, Information Systems Auditing, Research, and, of course, Academic Instruction. Victor is a Montanan native, enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, games, and all things cyber. His primary research interests are event correlation, network visualization, and improving Cybersecurity education.
