Dear Campus Community,
I invite the entire Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ family to participate in International Education Week, hosted Nov. 15-19 by the UM Global Engagement Office.
UM prioritizes whole-person learning, and we inspire our Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to expand the boundaries of knowledge, both here in Missoula and around the world. When our graduates leave UM, they do so prepared to influence and solve challenges on a global scale.
UM's International Education Week provides Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and others in our community the opportunity to learn about, engage in and appreciate the rich cultural diversity on our campus.
Please consider participating in one of the dozens of in-person, virtual and hybrid sessions to learn more about international education at UM and within the Missoula community. Don't miss the welcome event at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the University Center Atrium, featuring live musical performances by international Ñý¼§Ö±²¥!
The week's sessions will showcase interviews, presentations, discussion panels and cuisine from around the world in the Food Zoo, as well as highlight the cultural insights and international experiences of our faculty, staff and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. You will have opportunities to hear from the UM and Missoula communities, as well as partners across the U.S. and abroad.
The schedule for International Education Week is available online, and I hope to see you at one of these sessions.
Seth
