Required Public Notification of Comprehensive Visit
Dear Campus Community,
I am pleased to announce the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥’s upcoming Year Seven Comprehensive Accreditation Site Visit, will take place on campus April 24-26.
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ has been continuously accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) since 1932. Our current accreditation status is confirmed. The most recent NWCCU action reaffirming UM’s accreditation took place in July 2020. Recent accreditation reports and actions, as well as general information about the accreditation process, are available on UM's Accreditation website.
April’s visit will focus on UM’s Year Six Report, submitted in spring 2023, as well as the Year Seven Report, due to NWCCU Feb. 28. The Year Seven Report will be posted on UM's Accreditation website in early March.
While UM Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend open forums during the site visit, (dates, times and locations will be posted on Griz Hub), the public and campus community also may submit comments with NWCCU up to ten days before the start date of the evaluation visit.
