Carlson and Williams are GradCon Winners

It was a clean sweep for the PhD in Public Health program at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥’s GradCon, the annual celebration of graduate student research.  Elizabeth Williams, PhD candidate, won the award for Best Oral Presentation in STEM, for her research study ““Ambient air pollution, geomasking, and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy in Montana.”  Tess Carlson, PhD student, won the award for Best Oral Presentation in Humanities and Social Sciences for her research, titled “A Qualitative Study Investigating Perinatal Mental Health Screening.”  Dr. Ashby Kinch, Dean of the UM Graduate School, presented the awards, which come with a cash prize.  PhD in Public Health Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Alexandria Albers, Carly Holman, and Chelsea Kuiper also presented their independent research at the conference.  Congratulations to all the doctoral Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ who showcased their public health research at UM Gradcon!
