Meet Our Stars: Odyssey Signature Events Series

The 2025 Odyssey Signature Event Series is a curated set of events and experiences designed to highlight the amazing work done across the College of the Arts and Media (CAM ) throughout the year. CAM is the unified gateway to the unique visual, performing, and media arts assets, experiences, and educational programs on campus. This year, we are taking a break from focusing on one talented CAM alumnus to focusing more explicitly on the exciting work of our current faculty and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ across the college. Join us as we honor our CAM STUDENT STARS for our Odyssey Signature Event Series. Our Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ are the beating heart of CAM and a source of constant inspiration, and we are thrilled to welcome the community into our theatres, galleries, concert halls, and lecture halls for an intimate and inspirational look at their work.

Odyssey sponsorships provide critical financial support to UM Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, ensuring they can pursue their creative paths with key program funding that keeps the arts and media thriving throughout Montana. Donors who give a gift of $500 or more to Odyssey receive two tickets to each signature event and an invitation to a special spring reception in honor of our donors and friends in May 2025.

  • The Importance of Being Earnest—Thursday, February 27 @ 7:30 p.m., Montana Theatre, PARTV Center, presented by the School of Theatre and Dance. Come early and meet the creatives. 
    *Production runs 2/27/25-3/9/25 

 

  • Dean Stone Lecture—Thursday, April 3 @ 7:00 p.m., UC Theatre/Ballroom, presented by the School of Journalism. Guest Lecturer to be announced in early 2025.

 

  • Studio Arts B.F.A. Exhibition Opening—Thursday, April 17, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a reception from 4:00-5:00 p.m., Gallery of Arts, presented by the School of Visual and Media Arts.

 

  • —Friday, April 25 @ 7:30 p.m., Dennison Theatre, presented by the School of Music.
 
  • Media Arts Expo—Tuesday, May 6, from 3:00-10:00 p.m., with a reception from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Roxy Theater, presented by the School of Visual and Media Arts.
