Personal Summary
Wendy is an elementary educator with a passion for student behavior and mental health. Through the CCFWD, her grant work supports proactive student regulation, trauma-informed teacher practices and rural mental health in schools. She believes all Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and teachers have the right to learn and work in a safe, caring enviroment that utilizes current research strategies to shape instruction and reinforcement.Â

Teaching Experience
Wendy has nearly 2 decades of elementary teaching experience. In that time, she utilized leadership roles and professional development to continuosly adapt and evolve her teaching approach, as well as influence instruction around her. Within our schools, Wendy is passionate about social thinking, proactive expectations, student choice and trauma-informed practices. Most recently Wendy has been a Sustainability Coach with the PAX Good Behavior Game grant in Montana.Â
Hobbies
Outside of education, Wendy enjoys gardening, hiking, and introducing her two young children to the adventures Missoula holds.Â
