Professional Experience
Desiree has several years of experience in public health, serving an indigenous population in southeastern Montana. Having lived for nearly three decades in this community, she built strong relationships and deep connections with the people she served. During her tenure working for the Tribal Health Department, she was responsible for developing and overseeing several health programs. Ms. Restad has experience working as a public health consultant and works for the Montana Public Health Training Center.
Desiree is proud to be a Montana Public Health Association’s Executive Board member. She is also a former member of the Rural Behavioral Health Institute’s Board of Directors and the Montana HIV Planning Group and served as a member of the Montana Public Health Institute Design Team.Ìý
