CLPP Conference: Indigenous Science and Language (May 2023)
The Collaborative Language Planning Project (CLPP) will host a two-day conference on Indigenous Science and Language. It will be held on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ – Missoula. Visit the conference .
Convening (June 2022)
The convening served to broaden participation across the Montana tribal colleges in language science. Invited participants included researchers and teachers from Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU) in Montana, scholars and consultants at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, the American Indian Language Development Institute (AILDI) scholars and consultants, and five Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ who attended CoLang 2022 which was held on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus. There were 26 invited and 20 attended.
2nd Meeting (May 2019)
The second CLPP meeting was held on May 23rd & 24th, 2019 on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus. TCU liaisons and more language activists were invited. The meeting included guest speaker talks as well as Indigenous linguistics Ñý¼§Ö±²¥' presentations. Participants engaged their time in discussing ways to enhance language science and its application.

1st Meeting (May 2018)
The first CLPP meeting was held on May 17th, 2018 on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus. TCU lisiaons and the other members met and exchanged information and concerns regarding language issues.
