A reader is someone who reads the test aloud to the test taker.
A reader can:
- Read the test directions, questions, and answer choices.
- Read aloud clearly, at a normal pace with good pronunciation.
- Repeat the test content at the test taker’s request.
- Emphasize words printed in boldface, italics or capitals.
- Spell any unfamiliar words printed at the test taker’s request.
A reader cannot:
- Interpret, reword or explain the test.
- Suggest possible answers.
