Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
Because a general English major is not available, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ must choose one of the following options in order to complete the degree. Contact the English Academic Advisor to learn more.
The curriculum for this option includes content and licensure necessary to become a middle school or high school teacher in the U.S. with the completion of a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Creative Writing

Notes on Requirements
- All English/Creative Writing majors are required to take at least four semesters of a spoken modern or classical language. English Teaching concentration Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ are only required to take two semesters of a language.
- Many options have requirements in common if you are considering multiple options.
- LIT 110L, 236L, and 246L are intermediate writing courses. CRWR courses do NOT fulfill the intermediate writing requirement.
- LIT 300 and LIT 327 fulfill the required Advanced Writing course.
