2024-2025 Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Cost of Attendance (COA)
WUE (Western Undergraduate Exchange) is awarded to incoming Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ only through the admissions process and is a highly competitive, merit-based scholarship resulting in reduced tuition for qualifying out-of-state Ñý¼§Ö±²¥.
Incoming Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to Missoula College and those classified as Distance-Only are not eligible for the WUE.
Students must apply to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ by December 1 to be automatically considered for the WUE award.
COA Breakdown
A student’s academic major will not affect the awarding process. Students are required to sign up for 15 credits each semester or a total of 30 credits in an academic year (fall, spring, and summer) to receive and maintain the award. The COA is adjusted to reflect a student's actual enrollment status during the final review process. If awarded the WUE award, you are not eligible to receive other non-resident entering student scholarships.
A WUE student's Cost of Attendance (COA) is made up of two different types of costs: direct and indirect. The costs listed below are for a typical academic year (fall semester and spring semester). The housing and meals cost reflects living in university residence halls and having a university dining plan.
Direct costs are items that will appear on the University bills, such as tuition, fees, books, and housing and meals (if living on campus).
Indirect costs will not appear on the bill but are estimated costs associated with going to college and should be included in the budget. These include items like transportation and personal expenses.
