Community College Administrator Program
Program Purpose
The Community College Administrator Program (CCAP) advances U.S. vocational and technical education globally through a 4-week exchange of foreign government officials and senior administrators in higher education to the United States to examine the key tenets of U.S. community college administration and to witness innovative approaches to address current global educational and workforce development needs.
The program advances U.S. higher education models, promotes American values among foreign participants, and provides professional development for key foreign officials responsible for designing and overseeing higher education systems that will educate youth to meet emerging labor market demands. The program fosters a global network between and among U.S. and foreign administrators in vocational and technical education, building bridges to support U.S. competitiveness.

Past Programs
CCAP Vietnam
In 2024, the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ - Missoula College hosted a cohort of administrators and government officials from Vietnam.
Each cohort gains an understanding of how we meet our educational mission and help promote economic development of our communities. Subsequently, each cohort is able to adapt elements of our system and strategies to its institutions in ways that further empower those systems. Each cohort maintains active relationships with UM as part of the ongoing process of exchange envisioned by the U.S. Department of State.
