The mission of the Graduate School is to cultivate the talent and ability of a new generation of scholars and professionals, who in turn will contribute new knowledge to the scientific, economic, and cultural needs of the state, the nation, and the global community.
The Graduate School carries out its mission through student advocacy, promotion of diversity and inclusivity, promotion of research, and development of dynamic paths for education, including housing the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program.
Our graduate Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ provide a crucial link between and among the university’s major enterprises, providing invaluable undergraduate instruction; contributing new ideas and energy to the research mission; and carrying out vital service both to the university and the broader community in the form of arts, creative performances, and work in for- and non-profit sectors.
