Certificate in Nonprofit Administration
We offer coursework fully online or in-person. This is geared towards Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ who want to learn additional skills to become employed in the nonprofit sector but may not have enough time to complete a minor.

Requirements
This 12-credit certificate allows Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to focus specifically on nonprofit work without an internship. Complete the following:
- NPAD 166: Introduction to Public Service
- NPAD 267: Leadership and Nonprofit Organizations
- NPAD 466: Practical Applications in Nonprofit Administration
- NPAD 467: Advanced Nonprofit Administration
Certificate in Public Policy
The Undergraduate Certificate in Public Policy prepares Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ with fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for impactful careers in the public sector. This 12-credit undergraduate certificate can be completed either online or in person. The program focuses on leadership, theory and policy issues necessary for solving public sector problems through data-informed decision making. Students will leave the program with the skills and strategies necessary to analyze the problems we face as a society and develop impactful solutions.

Requirements
The program requirements consist of the following courses, some of which may count as either electives or requirements for other majors or minors, including the Minor in Nonprofit Administration.
- PUAD 166: Introduction to Public Service
- NPAD 267: Leadership and Nonprofit Organizations
- NPAD 368: Policy Process and Implementation
- NPAD 465: Solving Public Policy Problems with Data
Nonprofit Minor
The mission of the nonprofit administration minor is to build leadership capacity and professional skills for Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to lead, manage, and support nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. The Nonprofit Administration Minor is a 21-credit, stand-alone, multi-disciplinary program. Students from any major can minor in nonprofit administration. Nationally, 10% of workers are employed in the nonprofit sector; in Montana it is over 11% (MT Nonprofit Sector Report).
