UM StarTalk
The STARTALK Montana Russian program is a year-long Russian language and culture program fully funded by the National Security Agency (NSA).
Undergraduate college and junior and senior high school Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ can earn 6 college credits awarded by the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥.
The program takes place virtually during the spring and fall 2025 semesters and in-residence during a two-week summer camp at the UM campus in Missoula, Montana in summer 2025.
All expenses are paid by the program including tuition, registration, materials, and travel, room, and board for the summer program.

Application Opens: October 1, 2024
Application Deadline: December 1, 2024
Spring 2025 semester, virtual Russian classes two hours per week: January 21 to May 9, 2025
Summer In-residence intensive Russian language and culture camp on UM campus: July 13 to 26, 2025
Fall 2025 semester, virtual Russian classes two hours per week: August 25 to December 5, 2025
