The Neuroscience minor was recently created to provide an innovative pathway for non-majors to develop a valuable and applicable understanding of the brain and cognition. This curricular pathway will prepare Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ for the rapidly evolving opportunities that are arising in various sectors, including medicine, mental health, drug discovery, rehabilitation sciences, education, artificial intelligence, business, entrepreneurism, ethics and the law. Importantly, the Neuroscience minor allows Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to establish expertise in their primary field of study, as well as develop a complementary knowledge of neuroscience. Such a combination will position Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to excel as part of a cross-disciplinary team in any of these sectors. Owing to the overlap of course requirements, the Neuroscience minor is especially efficient and attractive for various majors including, but not limited to, Psychology and Human Biology.
