Might of Montana!
Established in 2024, the Might of Montana Award recognizes UM employees for their outstanding service to our campus community. Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis. Once a month, Might of Montana award recipients and their contributions will be featured in Under the M. Awardees will receive a gift and an invitation to a special event hosted by President Bodnar during Week of Excellence, held in spring semester. The Might of Montana Award continues the tradition of the Outstanding Service to the Campus Community Award which was previously presented during Week of Excellence.
Might of Montana Award Committee
The Might of Montana Award Committee, appointed by President Bodnar, reviews nominations and selects the winners. The committee is chaired by the Director of Internal Communications and Employee Engagement. Other members include a representative of the President’s Office, a Faculty Senator, and a Staff Senator. The first two members are permanent; the others serve three-year terms.
