You must read and agree to the following terms before purchasing a UM parking pass:
- I understand that there will be situations, such as events and construction, that may require me to move my car, regardless of the pass I have purchased.
- I understand that purchasing a parking pass does not guarantee that a parking spot will be available to me.
- I understand that parking is at 90% capacity from 9 am to 2 pm.
- I understand that finding an available parking spot can sometimes be stressful and time-consuming and I need to take into account extraneous circumstances and plan ahead.
- I understand that purchasing a parking pass is a privilege, not a right, and it can be revoked at any time.
- I understand that if I live within 2 miles of campus, alternative transportation such as biking, busing, or walking will likely be a more convenient commuting option for me.
- I understand that student fees pay for unlimited use of the UDASH bus system for student, employees, and community members and all information regarding the service is available at udash.org.
- I understand that ASUM Transportation offers weekly, monthly, semester long, and yearly bike rentals.
- I understand that the city bus is free and drops off near campus each day.
- I understand that ASUM Transportation offers free trip consultations to learn how to commute without a car.
*Please note, you must alert the parking office if any changes are made to your license plate after purchasing a parking pass. This is to ensure you do not receive a ticket in error due to our system not recognizing your vehicle.
