AMP—Alliance for Minority Participation is funded to Salish Kootenai College. In partnership with IRSE the AMP goal is to increase the number of Native American Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ successfully completing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
AMP Scholar Benefits
- Eligible to receive academic financial support through paid stipend
- Eligible to have travel expenses to approved STEM conferences reimbursed by ANAMP
- Eligible to participate in additional intern and research opportunities
Eligibility
- Enrolled full time in an approved Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics disciplines at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥
- Minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average
In April 2014 three AMP Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ toured NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory under the expert guidance of Dr. Aaron Thomas. All expenses for the trip were generously funded by AMP.
