The Robert T. Pantzer Presidential Humanitarian Award is granted annually to a person who has contributed substantially to making the University a more open and humane learning environment.
The award honors Robert T. Pantzer, President of the University from 1966 to 1974, whose open-door policy was a hallmark of his administration, and who provided outstanding leadership in the preservation of unfettered academic inquiry and expression.

All persons from the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ or the State of Montana
Nomination Requirements:
- Submittable nomination form, which includes space to enter 3-5 statements of support from other individuals
Selection Process:
Nominations will be reviewed by the Pantzer Award Committee. The committee makes recommendations to the Provost, who selects the award recipient.
