Sustainable Student Groups at UM

Originally created in 2018 to steer the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ towards decreasing their emissions through reduced and renewable energy use, the Climate Response Club has grown to be the largest student group on campus dedicated to climate activism.

UM FLAT
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Forum for Living with Appropriate Technology (UM FLAT) is an intentional, living-learning community dedicated to everyday sustainability. Students gain experience in shared leadership, learn practical skills, and build a supportive and dynamic community. The UM FLAT provides a welcoming gathering space and actively engages Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and Missoula through demonstration and educational programs

UM Forestry Club
The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Forestry Club is a group of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, faculty and alumni whose goal is to come together and create opportunities for Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ to learn more about the Forestry Industry as well as get outside and be a part of hands-on learning. For incoming freshman and returning Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ alike, this is a welcoming but close knit community of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ who come together every week with hopes to help each other succeed while still having fun.
