UM Conference on Undergraduate Research
Join the 2025 UM Conference on Undergraduate Research!
Research and creative scholarship are integral to many undergraduate experiences at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. The UM Conference on Undergraduate Research (UMCUR) strives to honor and highlight undergraduate research and creative scholarship from all disciplines. Student scholars and creators share their projects with multidisciplinary audiences at this annual event, allowing undergraduates an important opportunity to practice translating their work for a broader public. The conference also offers the campus and Missoula communities a space to discuss UM research and creative scholarship.
This year marks the 24th anniversary of the conference, and we invite Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, faculty, staff, community members, and other interested individuals to join UM in celebrating student presenters and performers on April 25, 2025.
Share Your Work
We invite all undergraduates to participate in UMCUR! Students can share their works in progress, senior thesis or capstone projects, projects associated with their coursework, performances, art projects, and more. All presenters/performers should prepare an abstract or artist's statement to register on ScholarWorks and should plan to attend workshop sessions to prepare for the conference.

Congrats!
Congratulations to the UMCUR 2024 award winners! Learn more about their research and creative scholarship projects, as well as past winners, in the UMCUR archives.
